Amanda Jensen is a design ethnographer and strategist whose work interweaves societal constructs, cultural criticism and physical making to challenge assumptions and question methods. Engaging in highly transdisciplinary environments, she specializes in a unique blend of design research, ethnography and investigative journalism.
Her work has taken her internationally to China, South Africa and Uganda as well as stateside in both rural and urban areas. Currently, her research explores themes of colonialism, hegemony, cultural resilience
and how brands are modern day colonizer's of culture.
